Through The Viewfinder
"Through The Viewfinder" was shot on Kodak 16mm Plus-X and Tri-X film with an ARRI-S 16mm camera, lit with a Lowell DP kit. Film developed and digitized at Pac Lab NYC.
Synopsis
This film was produced as a student project for Daniel's "Film Production 1" class at Hunter College in the Spring of 2009. Shot over a 3 day period at Roosevelt Island and the Polish Consulate in Manhattan, "Through The Viewfinder" is an egnimatic tale about a girl, her camera, and the boy who haunts her imagination.
Release Information
"Through The Viewfinder" was first screened in it's original format (16mm B&W) in Daniel and Kasia's film class at Hunter College in the Spring of 2009. Since then, the film has played at several film festivals and was released on a limited edition DVD in June of 2010. The film can now be viewed in its entirety by clicking the "stream" button below.
