Project Summary: For this project, we were approached by the client to update and modernize their current business which included changing the name of the business and creating a new logo. The main motivation behind the update was for the company to become more of a major player in the New York Metro commercial roofing industry.

Project Breakdown: For this project, we outfitted the client with the following:

•New company name (Commercial Roofing Solutions)

•Brand new logo and slogsn ("We Have New York Covered")

•Domain name acquisition (CommercialRoofingNY.com) and FTP server setup / configuration

•Designed, created, and programmed 7 unique web pages (Home, Company, Services, Project Profile, Photo Gallery, Testimonials, Contact)

•Researched and wrote all content regarding company services (Single Ply Roofing, Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO), Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Polymer (EPDM), PVC, etc.)

•Created dynamic page footer which includes affiliated company logos (Versico Roofing Systems, Carlisle Syntec Systems, Firestone, Polyglass, and GAF)

•Traveled to active joists and captured professional-quality pictures for use in the photo gallery and other sections of the website (ongoing)

•Custom email configuration and integration with existing Gmail account

•Custom contact form on website to help reduce spam and give visitors a safe and easy way to contact the company

•Best Search Engine Optimization (SEO) possible for the content provided (relevant keywords, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, yellowpages.com listing, social media page links, header tags, etc.)

•Created business cards and clothing with the company branding

Results: The project is still ongoing and we’re still working closely with the client to get all of the information we need to complete the website. Once we have more information, we’ll be able to complete the “Project Profile” and “Testimonials” sections. Once we have our hands on all of the content we need, we will also be creating a strong social media presence for the company which will not only exist as a unique method in which to drive traffic to the website, but also help the company appear higher up in search engine rankings.
